Thursday, May 31, 2007 "The Echo Boom Generation is an American sub-generation branching off Generation Y. The Echo Boom was a period in America between 1982 and 1994[1] in which the number of live births reached over 4 million for the first time since 1964. In 1985 and onwards, the number of live birth was that of 1965's 3.760 million. [2] Children of this generation are called the Echo Boomers, being the children of the Baby Boomers ). In this time period, there were 74.2 million babies born, slightly under that of the baby boomers. This generation spans from , and immediately follows the MTV Generation and immediately precedes the Internet Generation. This generation is significant because they are the last born to appreciate the changes of the digital revolution, and the rise of the internet and computer technology. These individuals typically share moral qualities with their grandparents (usually the G.I. or Greatest Generation). Some of these include the importance of hard work, dedication, and being an effective team member. Most political views of Echo Boomers are shared with their parents (Baby Boomers). This is due to similar presidential tension and the largely opposed war in Iraq. Many of the Echo Boomers have a closer relationship with their Baby Boomer parents and enjoy similar tastes in music and styles. It should be noted that while Echo Boomers are not as rebellious as their parents, they are not shy when it comes to speaking their minds. Saturday, May 26, 2007  i'm rushing work. due on sunday. argh. sneak preview of one of the skirt(and half view of the blouse). i totally love this. Tuesday, May 15, 2007  once again, i have to admit that we are the cutest couple. wahahhaa. well. been out the whole of today with dear. shopping ! dear bought me a tommy shirt ! yay ! but have to do lots of alteration although its the smallest size. haha. lots of bickering during the journey. and a very cranky dear. despite of those, i still enjoy every moment with him. i love u. (: mercy's birthday on sunday. went to harry's bar. and tian ji zhou at chinatown after that. some random pics from my phone of that day. but no mercy though. haha.   i dun understand why i will get half drunk and very red with less then one glass of cocktail. duh.  {11:25:00 pm}

Saturday, May 12, 2007 i'm having hols but i'm still busy. argh. basically, i think i only had one day off after assessment. and i currently have 4 projects on hand. 2 NelizErin projects, the level one show, and SFW's singapore fashion designers contest. but everything is getting more and more interesting. i so love it. bought all the fabric and stuff yesterday and gotta start sewing soon. i really love sourcing for fabric. but sewing and drafting really sucks. but nvm. i will have a big team of drafter and production ppl next time. haa. anyw, dear shaved his hair. haa.  spastic pics.   i'm blessed too. Tuesday, May 01, 2007 seriously, i have no idea how to update my life from here. life had been super duper hectic from the start of april. the word assessment spells sleepless nights for us, designers. i'm so blessed to not fall sick. its like my whole biological clock had turned upside down. we take nap when its 3am in the morning and wake up at 5am to continue sewing. we had breakfast like at 4pm when we woke up at 4am. we are paranoid at everything and looks like a christmas tree on assessment day(cos of the large amount of stuff we have to bring). you wounldn't understand what we went thru unless you are a designer too. despite all of the above, i totally loves my designer life.  cotton twill coat by yunting. this is just my final garment. i have 5 more. lazy to post up. and i love photoshoots. next, collaboration with sunny for NelizErin. probably launch in june/july. and will be working on my own collection after the collaboration for the rest of the hols. so, friends and family, do support when its in store. well, i just got my hair cut. short. short hair ! i can never get my hair long. i give up. i dun think i can ever get my hair long for the rest of my life. even though my hair grows really really fast. ha.    i finally meet my dear after an aweful long time !
